The two directors, Lucy Down and Pauline Hurndall-Waldron combine the exuberance of youth with the experience of maturity and set out to make the purchase of lingerie a pleasant, friendly occasion over a chat and a cup of coffee rather than a hassle.
Lucy, who had many years experience managing a lingerie business before opening her own store, was trained by Rigby and Peller in London how to fit a bra correctly, and will go to endless trouble to make sure that a bra or swimsuit fits correctly before she sells it. That's why there is no fitting guide on this site, only a perfect fit is good enough for our customers.
Pauline brings a lifelong experience in retail, and interior design,including the lingerie business and believes in providing a service rather than simply achieving a sell. This philosophy has rapidly built a reputation for friendly and efficient service.
Amour is one of the leading suppliers of lingerie it the south west. The local press described a visit to 7 market place as like walking into a designer shop in Paris or Milan.
