http://www.miodestino.com/lingerie/cotton-clubThe Cotton Club Lingerie Story began in 1981 when three colleagues located in the city of Fabriano, Province of Ancona in Italy, decided to start ‘on their own' with the ultimate dream to produce a mid to high end type of lingerie.
One of the partners envisioneded that they would call their designer Lingerie Cotton Club like the nightclub The Cotton Club in New York. The name was bad and good at the same time.
The leading partner of the three, Mr Roberto Crescentini, had always had an exceptional feeling for exclusive fabrics which resulted in the late eighties and early nineties in truly exceptional collections made out of elastic laces from one of the best lace suppliers in the world, ‘Noyon' from Calais in France.
Cotton Club became the first company in the intimate apparel industry to offer elastic lace in fashion collections. This was very innovative for those early years as at that time the industry used only rigid woven laces.
In the early nineties Cotton Club Fine Lingerie developed truly a innovative series of embroidery on elastic tulle and embroidery on Microfiber Tulle.
In the late eighties the label Cotton Club was sold mainly in Italy, though Cotton Club was soon to become a major player in the international market. The reason for this fast development was mainly due to an emphasis on very fashionable and exclusive collections which were sold at reasonable prices.
Cotton Club started marketing its exclusive collections very successfully and globally, from Hong Kong to New York and it proved that Cotton Club had pursued the right decision to start exporting into the big markets outside of Italy since their
collections were warmly accepted by most well known fashion intimate apparel stores word wide.
Today Cotton Club has a large team of designers working exclusively for the Cotton Club label under the very creative lead of Roberto Crescentini.
The decisive factor for the success of Cotton Club was and is the philosophy of creating a most exclusive collection with splendid fashion design, styling and rich fabrics at reasonably acceptable prices and with cup sizes up to D-cup bras.
This has resulted in the fact that Cotton Club is now one of the very few leading companies in fashion corsetry specialising in beautiful lingerie made in the best fabrics including:

* Suspender Belts
